The Yale electric chain hoist model CPE is compact in design and highly efficient. Its compact dimensions allow the use of a top hook or rigid attachment to the VT trolley range by means of 2 steel shafts.
 
  • Tested and approved by German and other international safety and inspection authorities. The CPE fulfills, as does all Yale hoisting equipment, the EC machinery directive 89/392 and its subsequent revisions.
  • Heavy duty squirrel cage motor with low maintenance, adjustable electromechanical spring pressure brake guarantees reliable braking even in case of a power failure. High duty rating. Motors protected to IP 54, insulation class F or H.
  • Phase protection to prevent operation if incorrectly connected to standard operating voltage: 380V or 525V, 50 Hz, 3-phase. Other voltages upon request.
  • 42 V low voltage control. The emergency STOP button is standard.
  • A wide variety of manual and powered trolleys is available. Powered trolleys are fitted with spring pressure brakes. All trolleys can be adjusted to fit a wide range of beam widths and profiles (e.g. INP, IPE and IPB). Anti-tilt and anti-drop devices are standard.
  • Case hardened load chain conforms to DIN 5684 resp. All current valid regulations. The chains are zinc plated for added corrosion protection.
  • The precision machined 5-pocket load sheave is made from case hardened, high tensile steel. The replaceable chain guide is robust, precision machined and wear resistant.
  • Oil bath lubricated planetary gearbox with hardened gears and high grade bearings.
  • Robust internal slip clutch prevents overloading and damage when accidentally hoisting against the upper and lower hook position. The clutch is easy to access for servicing and it is factory adjusted for reliable operation.
  • Drop forged suspension and load hooks. Heat treated and fracture resistant. Fitted with solid steel safety latches as standard. Load hook is bearing mounted for 360 degree rotation.
  • Fixed suspension hook for lateral mounting. A suspension hook rotated 90 degrees for axial mounting is optional. For rigid trolley connection the suspension hook can be removed and the hoist connected directly to the trolley with 2 steel shafts.
  • Chain container optional.
  • Extreme low-headroom versions can be designed to suit your special requirements.
  
  
Every CPE electric chain hoist, once assembled and chained up is dynamically load tested. The units are supplied with a test certificate showing the units’ serial number and an operating instructions manual which contains an EC declaration of conformity.
